Daffodil for Marie Curie Wales

Early this year I was commissioned by Marie Curie Wales to create a “Giant Glowing Daffodil” I designed the flower as a giant lampshade that lit up a bright yellow armchair to represent the individual care given by Marie Curie nurses. The chair has over 400 hand stitched Marie Curie daffodils which represent people helped by Marie Curie in Wales.

The daffodil and chair were at Caernarfon Castle in February and March this year and it is now lighting up a hostile in Pontypool.
